On the basis of official information, the agents of the Toubacouta Customs Brigade implemented an intervention plan allowing the seizure of more than one hundred (100) kg of Indian Hemp during the night of Monday 9 to Tuesday 10 January 2017 on unknown fugitives in the forest areas of Toubacouta.

This seizure, the third carried out in less than a month by the same Brigade, reflects a change in the itinerary of drug traffickers and highlights a new way of packaging narcotics (bale of 100 to 120 kg).

The General Directorate of Customs remains firmly committed to combating all forms of drug trafficking with a view to preserving public health and the safety of the population.
