The Customs agents from the maritime Brigades of Foundiougne have seized four (04) bags of indian hemp, in other words ninety-height (98) kilos on unknown runaways (drug-holders) that were riding a tumbrel on Thursday September 1st, 2016.
During a roadblock operation, agents of the Mobile Brigade troops of Diamniadio caught a hundred and eighty (180) patelets weighting a total of two hundred and twenty (220) kilos of indian hemp in the night of the 28th to 29th of August, 2016. The seizure was operated on a Peugeot 309 car, whose passengers ran away.
As for the Customs’ Mobile Brigade of Tambacounda, it has risen itself with the seizure of 8 kg of marijuana (indian hemp) on september 16th.
In terms of fight against money smuggling, the agents of the Tourism Brigade from Dakar Yoff’s subdivision successfully seized 13 000 euros, in other words 8 515 000 CFA francs on the same day, on a passenger leaving for Dubaï.
As part of fights against commercial fraud, agents of Pikine’s Mobile Brigade have seized 21140 liters of vegetable oil on September 7th, 2016.
Strenghtening the fights against trafficking (narcotics, commercial) remains more than ever a concern for the Customs administration as part of its missions to secure the borders, protect the national economy and public health.
