On Sunday, July 19, 2020 around 8 p.m the Toubacouta Maritime Brigade seized again in the off Djinack in the missirah bolong, 44 kg of Indian hemp. The prohibited product was concealed in two packages and loaded on board an artisanal canoe. This canoe and its 15 hp engine were also seized.
The value of Indian hemp is estimated at 2,640,000 CFA francs; the canoe and the engine at 1,000,000 CFA francs. This new seizure is the second carried out in one day in the same area by the Toubacouta Maritime Brigade. The first was about 84 kg.
