Following the example of other customs’ units, the Fatick Subdivision, Central Customs Region celebrated, on January 27th, International Customs Day.
“Sustainability at the heart of customs’ action for people, prosperity and the planet” as the topic, the event was celebrated in Fatick within a set of activities. In fact a blood donation allowed the customs medical services to collect 38 bags of blood. For this occasion, the headquarters opened its doors to the public. This was an occasion for populations and users to interact with customs’ officers on main issues.
This 2020 edition, relevantly allowed the head of the Subdivision, Lieutenant-Colonel Ndeye Fatou NDIAYE, to communicate this year’theme, while emphasizing the remarkable contribution of the Fatick Subdivision in customs’ performances during 2019.
