On Friday, October 25th, 2019, the Customs General Director chaired the closing ceremony of agents’ capacity building. This session on ship control techniques was intended for agents of the Joint Container Control Unit. The ceremony was held at the Dakar South Port office. Several authorities, representatives of the Defense and Security Forces and Customs technical and financial partners, took part in the meeting. All of them agreed on the necessity for administrations, especially Customs to upgrade skills and sharpen tools of control to face the new threats and ingenuity of transnational organized crime
