Seizure: The Kaolack Customs’ Subdivision hold Hemp, hiding and transport means worth a total of 78 million CFA francs

The Kaolack Mobile Customs’ unit seized 100 kg of Indian hemp and 300 grams of pure cannabis resin. The total seizure for a total value of 66,000,000 CFA francs, took place in the night of 15th to 16 September 2019, in Ndoffane.
On September 16th, 2019, the Customs’ unit officers operating on in the Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Bridge caught 12.5 kg of Indian hemp in a public bus from Casamance. Two individuals were arrested. The seizure as the whole, including the bus, was estimated at 12,000,000 CFA francs.
