On Thursday 04th July 2019, the well-known Karang Commercial customs’ Unit seized a bucket, full of “madd”. In fact, the bucket was used to hide the Indian hemp trafficking. The defendant, currently in custody, first introduced 2 kilograms of Indian hemp at the bottom of the bucket before filling it with “madd”.
Usually this modus operandi allows traffickers to introduce the product by infiltration. Thus, large quantities could pass the dams by the system “drip” and then introduce in the drug market.
The Karang Commercial customs’ unit broke the pipe and cut the system.
