On Wednesday, May 8th 2019, the Kalifourou unit operated a large seizure of 73 boxes and 13 bags of counterfeit drugs. The seizure is estimated at 92,150,000 CFAF.
The fraudulent goods were concealed in a specially designed double bottom in a truck type vehicle, registered FK-1606-KL.
The driver escaped, but the procedure is going on.
This new seizure, further confirms the determination of the Customs’ Administration in protecting populations and fighting against organized cross-border crime (CTO).
