Last Saturday, the Customs’ officers of the Kaolack subdivision seized a large amount of fake drugs and Indian hemp. According to Sud FM, goods are estimated at more than 100 million CFA francs. The seizure took place in two stages. The men of the commander Mame Assane Cissé stopped a car at the Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Bridge, at the exit of the city, towards Gambia.
The vehicle was carrying nearly 100 million CFA francs of fake drugs put in 25 cartons. On the same night, Gabelous seized, in the Sambou Ba forest, Wakh Ngouna village, 120 kilograms of Indian hemp. This drug is estimated at 36 million CFA.
