The facilitation mission of the international supply chain involves a simplification of customs procedures. It not only aims at simplifyingrequired documents for clearance of goods but also procedures applied by customs officers. It is presented as a“win-win option” for all stakeholders: states, consumers,businesses. To this end, an agreement on trade facilitation was adopted at the 9 Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) held in Bali, in Indonesia in December 2013. This agreement aims atspeeding up the movement, releasing and clearing of goods. The Information Technology contribute greatly to the implementation of this facilitation mission.
