On Wednesday November 29th the Customs General Director, Mr. Oumar Diallo and the Head of Treasury Department, Cheikh Tidiane Diop, visited the international airport Blaise Diagne along with their delegation.
The purpose of the visit was to check if the readiness of all services were set before the opening of the new airport on December 7th. The two General Directors expressed their satisfaction regarding the high quality of the airport structure and congratulated authorities and the AIBD’s Administration for completing this important project.
The CEO of AIBD, Mr. Abdoulaye MBODJI and his staff thanked their hosts and affirmed they could rely on their ability to adapt to the imminent opening. The delegation visited the main premises, particularly those dedicated for Customs and the Treasury, essential links of the chain. The two financial authorities start their services.
